The Tabula Traiana is a Latin inscription dedicated to the emperor Trajan, engraved on a specially carved rock wall overlooking the Iron Gates. Today it is inserted, together with other vestiges of the period, the Roman road and the remains of the Trajan’s Bridge, in the Đerdap national park, near Kladovo, in Serbia.
The Tabula Traina is placed right in front of the sculpture of Decebalus and was built at the time of the military campaigns that led the Roman Empire to conquer Dacia.
